There's a good chance our kids may grow up thinking Christmas is a month-long extravaganza.
The first of three stacks of Christmas presents appeared under our tree on Saturday morning (with Nanna and Grandpa Sakraida playing the role of St. Nick this time around). And on Saturday afternoon, the Sakraidas came to South Jersey for gifts and holiday fun.
After helping to divide everyone's presents into piles, Morgan tore open her big present from Nanna and Grandpa: a new doll house!
Gwen didn't completely understand the idea of opening presents. But after Morgan helped her open her "Lil' Zoomer", she was excited to watch the cars zip around in circles.
On Saturday afternoon, Morgan and Gwen shed their Santa PJs, donned their Christmas dresses, and charmed Great Grandma Marge (a.k.a. G.G.), Aunt Kathy and Uncle Mike.
By the end of the day, Gwen had had all the holiday cheer she could handle. She tried to stay awake, but practically fell asleep at the table.
