Morgan will not be outdone!

Morgan heard that Cooper was strutting around with his walker and already practicing standing. So Morgan insisted that her mommy use her Toys R Us coupon to get her her very own walker.

Thanks to her new little shopping cart (and a little peer pressure), Morgan is now strutting her stuff. (Take that, Cooper! What'chu got now, sucka!)

Morgan woke up one morning and decided that she needed to get her paperwork in order for getting her taxes filed.

Morgan fights a penguin

Not really much explanation needed for this one, but we'll explain anyway.

Morgan got an inflatable penguin for Christmas. It's like a punching bag that giggles when it rocks back and forth. Until this week, though, she hadn't really "gotten it" when it came to playing with the penguin. It was just this goofy blow-up toy that laughed a lot. She would stare at it with a look on her face that said "What's his problem?"

This week, she finally figured out that what the goofy penguin needed was a 9-month old baby to hug it, pat it -- oh, and scream and bite it. So that's what she does.




In other news, Morgan has her 9-month appointment on Friday. She weighed 16 lbs/11 oz, and was 27 inches tall.

Xtranormal.com is a web site that lets you make animated videos. According to the tag line they put at the end of each video, "if you can type, you can make movies". This video totally proves that.

Snow Day!!!

We woke up this morning to find our first decent snowfall since we moved into our house almost two years ago! Considering that, we seized the opportunity to take Morgan on her first sled ride, and snap a bunch of pictures. So, at 7:45am, the whole family bundled up and headed to the back yard to play before we left for work.



















After playing outside for a while, we realized we had to get going with our daily routine. Luckily, though, we found out that Morgan's daycare wasn't opening for another two hours because of the snow. So, in the end, we all ended up staying home.

9 Months Old

Happy Equilibrium Day, Morgan!



Morgan has now been outside the womb as long as she was inside it! In her nine months, Morgan has gone from being a tiny, wrinkly, little baby to being an energetic, happy little girl who smiles, laughs, crawls, cruises, climbs, waves, points, and plays.

If that wasn't enough, she can also do this...

Not bad for nine months, huh?

Morgan's Napping Buddy

Ariella has started Morgan on a new nap habit of falling asleep by herself in the crib. So Morgan wanders around the crib a bit and then finally will fall alseep. This is where she falls sleep each time.



Yesterday she literally fell asleep on the bear, she was hunched over her head to the bear's head, sleeping sitting up.



After her naps, we find her sitting next to the bear just waiting to be collected for some more play time. (perhaps they are swapping secrets)
