Spaghetti Morgan Wins!

By now, you've probably all seen the Capital One commercial with the mom's favorite pictures of her son battling to see who which one ends up as her credit card photo. Finally, she proclaims, "Spaghetti Jimmy Wins!" 

Well, Spaghetti Jimmy, meet Spaghetti Morgan. You've met your match, pal. 

 

Morgan is a dancing fool...

Morgan has learned a lot of stuff at day care this year, like how to hold her own bottle, and how to finger paint. Now, she has learned how to boogie.

A few weeks ago, she started showing off her dance moves whenever we played music in the house. So far, she has mastered 5 different steps:

• Right-Left Foot Stomp
• Sway Back & Forth
• Shrug Her Shoulders
• Shake Her Booty Up & Down
  
• Spin in a Circle

Andy freely admits that this is 5 more dance moves than he's learned in his entire life.

Bubbles!!!

On the 4th of July, we decided to blow some bubbles out the deck at the Lake with Morgan. We had never blown bubbles with her before. So, needless to say, we were pretty surprised when Morgan not only knew what bubbles are, but she knew how to say "bubbles".

She shouted "BUBBLES" as soon as she saw them, and was practically bursting with excitement as she chases them all over the deck. I guess they play with bubbles at daycare. Who knew?

Pigtails

Happy Monday Morning!

Ariella finally got Morgan's hair into pigtails on Friday. Morgan kept them in for a whole 20 minutes.

Mmm... berries.

Two Fridays ago, Morgan went berry picking for the first time with the Frickes. She tried her hand in picking cherries, strawberries and blueberries. It didn't take her long to figure out that picking blueberries meant she could eat blueberries. Yum.

What? Do I have something on my face?

Morgan has discovered this magical room in the house called "the office". And in this magical room there is a basket that full of wonderful arts & crafts stuff. It was the go-to basket for Katie when she came over to play, when we didn't have any toys. (What was that like?)

Anyway, Morgan found the stamp pads one morning this week, and we found her looking like this:





Fortunately, the ink came off fairly easily. But the green crayon that she tried to eat at school that day wasn't so lucky.

Mister Softee

Morgan had her very first Mister Softee Ice Cream on Saturday afternoon.



Morgan's was in a cup, of course, and not nearly as exciting as Daddy's...
